About GLOMUS Camps
GLOMUS has a number of concrete activities such as exchanges, bilateral cooperation projects and capacity building projects. The primary activity is a major event or "GLOMUS Camp", which takes place every two years and brings students, teachers, managers and artists from all member countries together to engage in an abundance of intercultural expressions, performances, and debate workshops, which are also open to the public. So far, GLOMUS Camps have taken place in Mozambique, Ghana, Tanzania, Malaysia, Brazil, Georgia, Denmark and Nepal
GLOMUS Camp 2027 Lands in South Africa
The South African College of Music and the Centre for Theatre, Dance & Performance Studies at the University of Cape Town are delighted to host the next Glomus Camp from 8–19 January 2027 under the theme Arts in Action: Bodies, Sounds and Society.
Set in Cape Town — affectionately known as the Mother City and celebrated as the fairest Cape —this gathering offers a stunning backdrop for creative collaboration and exchange. We look forward to an inspiring programme of innovation, co-creation, and intercultural dialogue over what promises to be an unforgettable few days.
